Are the results a diagnosis?

No, and the difference is not a formality: screening and diagnosis answer two different questions.

screening points the way. It gathers what you report in a structured way, organises it by area, and highlights where it might be worth looking more closely. It is not a standardised test and it does not compare your results with a reference sample: it describes your individual case, right now. It tells you where to look, not what you are seeing.

diagnosis interprets. It comes from the interview, from your history, from direct observation, and above all from ruling out the other possible explanations: sleeping badly may come from anxiety, but also from a medical condition, a medication, or a hard period of life. Telling them apart is a clinical act that the law reserves to licensed professionals, and no score can take its place.

In practice: with the Screening you receive an orienting reading, useful for understanding how you are and where to start. With the Valutazione professionale the pathway also includes validated clinical tests, read and reported by a psychologist on the professional register who integrates them into the overall picture and writes a signed psychodiagnostic report; any diagnosis is theirs to make. The feedback consultation is included: results of this kind are not handed over on a document, they are explained.

Who is behind beassessed?

A psychologist and psychotherapist on the professional register, with over 15 years of experience in clinical work and psychodiagnostic assessment. The instruments offered are official, validated questionnaires; the design and logic of the screenings are built in a structured way, consistent with the research literature. In the Valutazione professionale the clinical reading is his and carries his signature. In the screeningpathways, on the other hand, the report is produced automatically: no psychologist writes or signs it, which is why it counts as orientation and not as a clinical assessment.

Why are some well-known tests missing from the platform?

For copyright reasons. Some instruments, for example the MMPI, SCID-5 or STAI-Y, are protected by publishers' or authors' rights, and administering them digitally requires a specific licence: until that authorisation arrives, we choose not to reproduce them. beassessed includes only tests in their official validated version, with the permission of the rights holders, which is a guarantee of seriousness both for the person answering and for the professionals who use the results. Licence requests for the missing instruments have already been sent: as soon as they are authorised, they are switched on.

How is my data protected?

Your information is kept on servers in Europe, in compliance with the GDPR, and treated as health data. Your professional is the only person who reads your answers, and they are bound by professional confidentiality.

To compose the report, however, the scores and the answers you write in your own words in the follow-up modules are processed by a fornitore tecnologico acting on behalf of the data controller: it receives neither your name nor your email address, it may not use that content to train its own systems, and it is required to delete its operational logs within a few days. We tell you this because "only your psychologist" would be a convenient simplification, and an inaccurate one.

Data is kept for ten years from the last time you used the platform, then deleted. Ten years is the period within which contractual liability can be pursued under Italian law (Article 2946 of the Civil Code), and therefore the period in which the records may still be needed, by you as much as by the professional. The Italian psychologists' code of conduct requires at least five; the longer of the two is applied here. You can ask for deletion sooner, at any time. The details are in theprivacy notice (in Italian).

How long does it take? Can I stop and pick up again?

It depends on the section: roughly 30 to 75 minutes in total (the estimated time is shown before you start). Between one questionnaire and the next you can pause and resume whenever you like from the same link: the answers you have given are kept.

Quanto costa e cosa include?

For those coming directly there are three options: Screening Base (24,90 €) with an immediate report showing where the results sit on their scales and what they mean; Screening Plus (49,90 €) with a fuller report and personalised suggestions drawn from scientific sources; Valutazione professionale (199,00 €), a fuller battery of tests, read and reported on by a psychologist on the professional register, who writes and sends you the report, with the feedback consultation included. From the two screening pathways the consultation can be requested separately, if you wish (80,00 ). Payment is taken on a secure page (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay).

Quali aree posso valutare?

Six sections, each with its own pathway: Personal (mood, anxiety, stress), Sport (performance and sport psychology, with modules by discipline), Couple and relationship, Parents, Business (wellbeing at work and burnout), and Health and chronic pain (endometriosis, fibromyalgia, persistent pain, wellbeing after childbirth).

What is monitoring over time?

It is the approach known in the literature as Measurement-Based Care: measuring during the course of care, not only at the start. It remains a tool in the professional's hands, and the clinical decisions are theirs.

An assessment tells you how you are at a given moment. It does not tell you whether you are better or worse than before, and it does not tell you whether what you are doing to feel better is working. To know that, you have to measure more than once.

If your pathway continues with a psychologist, they can switch on monitoraggio: at an interval they decide, usually once a week, a short questionnaire arrives by email with a personal link and takes a few minutes. You have nothing to remember and you do not repeat the whole assessment: it is a few questions, always the same ones, chosen because they are sensitive to change.

The results line up on a chart. The professional no longer looks at the single score but at the direzione: whether a difficulty is easing, standing still, or getting worse. A change is flagged as cambiamento attendibile only when it is large enough that it cannot be explained by the instrument's ordinary fluctuation: one point more or less, on its own, means nothing. If a score worsens, or an answer indicates risk, the professional receives an alert.

Monitoring is optional, it stops whenever you or the professional decide, and it does not replace your sessions: it makes them better informed. The measurements are health data and carry the same protections as the rest of the pathway.

I am asked some open questions before the questionnaires: what are they for?

In the valutazione professionalepathway, before the questionnaires, you may be offered a short intervista iniziale: a few questions in sequence, answered in your own words. They serve to understand what brings you here and to choose the instruments most useful in your case, rather than giving everyone the same battery. The questions are not a fixed list: they change according to what you say.

Puoi saltarla at any point and go straight to the questionnaires: the pathway works just the same. It is not a consultation, it is not an interview, and it produces no diagnosis.

What you write is read by the psychologist handling your assessment and is covered by professional confidentiality. To formulate the questions, the text is processed by a technology provider acting as data processor, with the safeguards set out in theprivacy notice (in Italian).

I am a psychologist: how do I use beassessed with my patients?

You register your profile and generate a personal link for each patient, choosing from the catalogue which instruments to include. The questionnaires arrive ready to use, with immediate scoring and reports; the assessment remains yours. After the report you can also send your patient, with one click, a targetedintegrazione with further instruments, to go deeper where it is needed: they complete it picking up where they left off, and the report updates.

You can also switch on monitoring over time: you choose the instruments and the interval, the system sends the measurements to the patient on its own and shows you the trend on a chart, marking reliable change and alerting you when a score worsens or a risk flag appears. Access is by monthly subscription in three plans: Standard 35,00 €, Max 79,00 € e Super 169,00 per month, plus VAT. All three include instruments, links and monitoring, and none has features to unlock separately: what changes is only how many new assessments are opened each month and how many monitoring series run at once, that is 15 valutazioni al mese · 15 monitoraggi attivi insieme on Standard, 50 valutazioni al mese · 50 monitoraggi attivi insieme on Max, and no limit on Super. The first 30 days are free. For the patient it is always free. Only publisher-licensed instruments remain pay-per-use.

What is the work-related stress assessment for organisations?

See how it works →
